Study on the Selection of Single-Screw Steam Compressors in Industrial Steam Supply

Both direct and indirect heating compression methods were proposed to satisfy the requirement of industrial steam supply. The process in a single-screw compressor was analyzed with determination different inlet outlet boundary conditions. Considering misalignment meshing pairs caused by offset star wheel axis screw origin, differential expansion vertical pair further analyzed. inner ring sealing end face, wall bearing at ends, bottom surface bracket coordinate systems constraints, thus facilitating design selection single screw. critical point for steam-type is an temperature 350 °C volume flow rate 130 m3/min. At m3/min, when exceeds °C, reliability still limited, 0.3 mm. In addition, superheating can be improved applying centrifugal cascade conjunction reflux adjustment outlet.
